We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Martin Semmann as Managing Director and Arunima Sharma as a research associate!

About Dr. Martin Semmann

Since 15.05.2023, Dr. Martin Semmann acts as Managing Director at HCDS. He brings many years of experience in digital transformation, but also in the research management and management of complex cooperative projects.

Martin Semmann holds two degrees in business informatics from the Georg-August University of Göttingen. As part of his Ph. D. at the University of Hamburg, he focused on benefits realization in IT-supported change processes. In addition, he successfully acquired numerous joint projects and managed research projects. At the same time, he was the managing director of the cross-university initiative ahoi.digital. His professional focus is on the use of opportunities for digital transformation, as well as innovative technologies in research and practice.

At HCDS, Martin Semmann will also focus in particular on expanding cooperation structures and systematizing methodological expertise

About Arunima Sharma

Since 19th April 2023, Arunima has been actively serving as Research Associate at HCDS. With six years of experience in advance research, She brings invaluable expertise to our team.

Arunima holds Masters and Bachelors from Rajasthan Technical University. At HCDS, Arunima will play a pivotal role in project "SCoT: Sense Clustering over Time". This project focuses on developing a powerful tool for the analysis of lexical change, allowing us to gain insights into the evolving meanings and usages of words over time.
